QVC shipping charges -- wait until I tell you-- What would you have done??????

I have shopped via catalog for years so I am use to shipping charges... They have risen over the years-- but still worth it to me... Many of you complain that QVC chares too much. I certainly like the companies that offer Free Shipping.. but -- But

I have to tell you about an experience I had last night.. i went to order a jigsaw puzzle for a gift...The price of the puzzle was $18.99, (which I think is over the top -- but in this case i was willing to pay it, since the puzzle would be a cute gift.) As I was ready to "check out" I noticed the price of the order was $38.96. Thinking I had perhaps ordered 2 puzzles in error I double checked... Nope.. the shipping charge for this one box weighing I would guess 10-12 ounces was $20.97. I could not believe my eyes. One item $20.97. This is the worse.. Until this time it had been $15.00 for a pair of earrings from Ross Simons years ago.

I refused to pay this and cancelled the order. What wouldyou all have done???? Suddenly QVC looked like a real bargain ay $6.95
