Oh, when I first started teaching middle school music, Andrae Crouch was HUGE. Some of his music was always in our repertoire.

Only by reading his obit was I made aware of some of his experiences. I love that song ""God is Trying to Tell You Something"" in The Color Purple. I had no idea that was Andrae Crouch's song. ""The Blood Will Never Lose Its Power"" has been going through my head all day today.

May his family and friends be comforted.

He will be missed. I loved to hear him sing and he was such a talented writer, too.

He was a wonderful singer/songwriter and his music will live on. I've always enjoyed watching him on the Gaither Homecoming events. RIP Andrae.

Thank you for posting this. I agree -- he was most likely lead into to the heavenly choir. Job well done!

I remember going to his concert while in college. Loved his voice and message.
