If you are getting all the movie channels from 299 to 388 for free?

My friend is getting close to 100 free channels and he is worried he is going to be charged for them. Usually they tell you when you get to view these channels for free and it isn't listed.

It does appear that our DISH system is offering these channels free as well.

I shall have to tell my husband.

Maybe they figure this will quiet all those who are missing their Fox channels.

They are giving me a credit of 5 bucks for the next six months but if this drags on much longer, I shall demand more.

Yes, I have it free also. Don't know why and nothing was mentioned as to why. I do have $15 a month off my bill for 10 mos because I called up to complain about the $5 increase in Jan. Don't care about Fox being off the air as I don't care for their views.

I have them all too although I suspect it is an error on Dish's part. They are listed on the free preview channel.

I don't think it's an error on Dish's part because periodically they give you free premium channels for 3 mos at a time when they offer it. They want to keep their customers because many people are canceling and switching to Netflix instead.

It's not an error and you won't be charged. I've had Dish for over 10 years, and they periodically offer free previews of a number of stations (premium or not) for a specified period of time. Sometimes they offer only HBO, sometimes HBO and Showtime, sometimes more. I did notice last night that the number of free preview stations this time is the largest I've ever seen on Dish so far. One of the channels in the low 100s (I don't remember which) shows what the promotional free stations are, as well as the offer's expiration date.

I get channels added and removed now and then without notice. Most nobody cares to watch.
