Year Planner; What kind

Hi! I love planners, and always have one or a few. What is your planner this year? Or, no planner- you don't need it. All thoughts are welcomed. Share your thoughts!

I don't know why I feel it is important to record and write about my life on paper, but, I do.

I like Staples's planner. Each month is tabbed with the monthly calendar on two pages. Then each week has two pages with 7 lines for each day's to do list. Last year I tried a different planner but I went right back to this one. I know I could do a planner on my Ipad but I guess I am old school with pen and paper.

When I needed one -- I used the Levenger Circa system. I believe Staples or Office Depot have their own version of it at a much lower cost.

I am a sucker for Levenger stuff.....

Now I just use the calendar feature on my phone.

Pre-electronic devices, I used a Franklin planner to keep my life in order (or my assistant did). Now I just use the calendar on my phone.

Use the feature on my IPad which syncs to the phone. Also subscribe to various loved ones Cozi calendars which help me keep track of events we are sharing. Works wonderfully.

Just a plain ole calender with spaces to write in appts. I tried using the one on my computer but found it to be a bit of a pain in the neck as I would not have my computer with me when I wanted to use it.

Besides my wall calendar, I only have a wallet size El Cheapo weekly planner. It cost me all of $2.50 but it's a pretty pink color. It has the month at a glance, then weekly view with room for notes, plus space for some important contacts and other misc info. I used to buy expensive daytimers, but really only need something I can carry in my purse to keep track of appointments.

I use an At a Glance monthly planner....it's my lifeline. I have my work schedule for both of my P/T jobs in it....dr appts and social engagements.

I even color code it.....Yes, I'm weird like that! I highlight my hospital hours in pink, my answering service job in yellow and any appointments or social engagements in blue!

I buy what ever is the best deal....5" x 7" or close to it.

I don't do anything w/o it.

Lotus: I am definitely with you. I have bought the same planner from Walgreens for the past five or six years, one month to a double page, and it works beautifully for me, all for the grand total of $2.00. I use different colored pens to enter different types of appointments (for example, medical appointments are one color, my various volunteering shifts are in other colors). I would be lost without it.

It's nice to see I'm not alone. Donna and Fona....I find it so much easier to see what I have coming up with the color coding.

This will be my first year using a planner. I am already 10 days behind in using it. I bought a planner called the Action Planner on Amazon. I paid 20 dollars for it. It comes in orange or black. It is nice and basic I think I will like it if I ever start using it.

Lotus, it is very cold, but at least it is not snowing. It is 12 degrees right now. Stay warm and cozy.
