topic cat litter in Community Chat

I am new to having pet cats. My daughter got 2. They are very sweet cats. However, I have a problem with cat litter being all over the floor. My daughter purchased a litter box that is enclosed to try to minimize the spilliage, but there is still cat litter all over the floor in the room where it is and they make a trail in the other rooms. Is there the way it is? Or is there a specfic or better cat litter box that can be purchased. Any suggestions? I would appreciate your advice. Thanks.
