Our cocker has had this for about a year and the vet has given us numerous medications that have been pricey at times and no help. She keeps telling us to cleanse the ear thoroughly, well after a year she must have the cleanest ear. Her ear is so red on the outside and the stench of the infection is awful. My latest try due to a suggestion is white vinegar and peroxide. It seems to be helping with the wax but the redness and smell just don't go away.
