Kelly Ripa has been trying too hard

to be humorous on LIVE. It seems uncomfortable to me. I think having Michael, with his natural charisma as her co-host, is making her feel she needs to compete with him.

I like her but sometimes she takes ""all day "" to get to the point of a joke or story and then when she gets to the end it isn't even funny LOL

I've never been a fan of Kelly. I've heard a lot of gossip about Regis' ouster and Kelly's hand in it. Personally I just don't think she has that kind of power.

I agree that sometimes Kelly tries too hard to be funny all the time.

But, I think part of the reason is that Michael *isn't* good or natural at being quick with funny comments and comebacks. He's charming but most of his funny, entertaining comments are responses to Kelly's lead-ins.

He's not natural with interviews, either. I see him reading the cue cards and isn't smooth or natural like Kelly is. She's just much more quick witted and good at off-the-cuff humor/comments.

She has to take the lead too often. When Regis was co-hosting, she didn't need to take the lead all the time.

Kelly has to make up for the lack of intelligence on her co-hosts part. He is not the sharpest knife in the drawer. She carries him through the entire show and the only thing he contributes is taking off his shirt so everyone can admire his physique.

I hope they cancel and put Kelly out of her misery. I have always liked her and she was great with Regis. This guy who was accused of beating his ex, just adds nothing to this show.

She has a very quit wit and I think she is a very intelligent woman. I think being paid 22 million a year shows she is very much appreciated.

Meryl Streep is another woman who is appreciated in Hollywood....so is Angelina.

I like them both. I find Michael very sharp-witted, entertaining, and plenty intelligent for me. Don't want a 'know it all', serious type of host, similar to Gilman (lol).........

I really like Kelly but she can be a bit overbearing at times. I like Michael very much too. I find him charming and amusing. They both do a good job IMO.

I like the way Kelly and her husband have been raising their children. Kelly isn't afraid to speak up and tell them who's their boss, etc. And, also, she relays many of their 'for instances' to us viewers out here.

I liked Michael when he started on the show and was glad he was selected as co-host. But, lately, he's so over exposed. He's on Fox NFL, commercials, hosting shows, GMA... I like his personality but he seems to be everywhere. I don't see how his addition to GMA has added anything to that program. They have way too many people on those morning shows anyway.

Kelly is okay. That little girl voice can drive me nuts. I may be one of the few, but I enjoyed Kathie Lee much more on that show with Regis.
