Easily the anti-smoking ads, with the people suffering from lung cancer. Those ads are dreadful. If that doesn't make you quit smoking, I don't know what would.

PSA has to do with (in my medical world) prostate!

Apparently, everyone is thinking that the other person either reads minds, is a self made medical professional or all of a sudden knows the reasons-whys, and policies of aviation.

If, so, then state your credentials.

Do you want ng/mL serum levels, age associated with that age group for men?

I agree, the anti-smoking commercials and print ads are some of the most powerful and shocking. I still remember the one of the lady that smoked all her life, and she removes her wig, her teeth, unwraps her scarf to reveal her stoma in her neck, and tells people to record their voice for their loved ones while they still have it. Over 2.2 million people died in the last 5 years in the US from tobacco and smoking related diseases. You couldn't pay me enough to smoke.

Oh good grief, no need to be so rude to the OP. Everyone else understood that PSA meant Public Service Announcement and not prostate PSA levels.

ITA! That was eerie how it was broadcasted after his death.

Another effective recent Anti-Smoking PSA ads are the ones with Terrie Hall. There were only 4-5 spots, but it sloooowly showed her getting worse...until the last one where she was in a hospital bed & an ending still frame announcing her death.

The one I saw recently about 2 long time friends growing up together and then one gets a car and the other one is texting him asking where he is while his friend is driving? And the screen fades to black.

I've never forgotten the one that shows a woman doing some drugs. I think she was snorting some coke or something - I don't remember the actual complexion of what she was taking. But it goes on with her saying something like 'hey, it's nobody's business what I do'.

Then it goes on to show her getting on to the school bus and driving kids to school. It was very short and made its point extremely well.

""Mind your meds"": That man in the wheel chair. He was sooo handsome and now looks like he's totally dependent on his mother and wife. They even had to wipe spittle from his face. I feel sorry for him and the caregivers.
