Flobron!! Progressive does it again!

This was trending on Twitter this AM...a little Christmas gift to all of us. Hilarious. I'm sure this will be the new set of Progressive commercials for the Super Bowl season. Man, oh man....Progressive must have a marketing budget like no other....and I don't know a soul that has that insurance. Funny. But it gets people talking.

Flobron...I'll giggle over that all day. Love how he has the Flo hair...and wearing the apron. Awesome!!

BTW: This is LeBron James, NBA.

I haven't seen it, but they wouldn't have to do much to be better than those horrible Flo "family" Christmas ads. That family she plays gave me the creeps.

For sure! I am not a fan of this character anyway, but those family ones are just nauseating - especially the 'meat sweats' guy. Ewww! Never even heard of that, but when the character says it I want to hurl.

This looks like it might be cute to see ONCE but, no doubt, it will be played ad nauseam for the duration. ha!

She is one talented comedy actor. Really made her nitch in the commercial world.

I've also seen her in tv shows here and there. I've recently been re-watching Mad Men from the beginning, and she was in season one as one of the switchboard operators. I also have seen her in a couple of sitcoms with small parts. While I don't care for her Flo character, I do like seeing her in shows as other characters.

Her IMDb list is quite extensive. She's a very established actress from the mid-early 00's...also a member of the Groundlings...an improv group where many actors have started.

After our first golf cart was stolen and destroyed we went looking to insure the new one and , sure enough, Progressive insures golf carts - cheap too. Many people must have this insurance because they can certainly afford to advertise a lot on prime time shows.

She's spent a lot of years doing those Progressive commercials. I hope she's invested her earnings well. I suspect that she's so identified with Progressive that it'll be hard for her to get any other roles, commercial or otherwise.

I looked at her bio elsewhere on the web. She appears to have had other roles in a variety of shows. She's a graduate of the State University of NY at Binghamton (my alma mater). I still wonder whether or not, today, she can break out of the "Flo" role when the concept eventually comes to an end.
