His cover of the Beatles' ""I Get By with a Little Help from My Friends"" was just about the only Beatle cover that was better than the original.

Loved Joe Cocker - this is so sad.

Another one gone from an era that will never be the same.

Never cared for his singing, but I know he was a cultural icon. I'm sad he is gone so soon.
