there were over 570-something comments! that is the "them" i refrenced! read them all if you want then take your pick! along with the other over 670-something on the site that had the link to the article. lawd!

There have been delays the past few years but only one to two weeks.

The omnibus budget that was just passed cut the IRS budget. Delayed refunds and less prosecution of cheaters is a possible side effect. Budget cutting has consequences.

Any delay is too long.

If we the taxpayers are late in making our payments we have to pay interest, penalties and anything else the government can tack on.

I never ceases to amaze me how many cry and scream for cuts, cuts, cuts - until those cuts impact their own lives. Then they scream that they are not getting the level of or quantity of the services they expect. Can't have it both ways!
