the first place in our area and the news is all over it! just in time because tmr is the last day of school before christmas break and people are going to be headed out of town!

Still over $3.00 in my neighborhood. I guess that's better than over $4.00 the way it was over the summer.

That's great.

I gassed up yesterday and it was $2.51. A couple years ago, we were in the $4.80's for gas. Big improvement...

Congratulations! It's still hovering around $2.50 here, but that's still good, considering where were were at before the prices started plunging.

Yay, congrats! Now if only they had 1.99 beef roasts. lol. I cant believe a roast is 12 to 20 dollars here. Food costs bother me more than gas prices.

I think I paid $2.47 a couple of days ago but I did see $2.39 in this area.

Figured it had to be low in other parts of the country - I'm currently right next to a gas station in downtown Chicago and it is $2.99. First time I've seen it crack $3 in years It's usually 0.30-0.70 more here than the suburbs. Hope it stays low over the weekend so I can fill up when I visit mom.

one more gas station has it at that price this morning so at least everyone will not try to get gas at this one place like yesterday! and there are 3 more gas stations that are at the $2.03 price just like those were so i believe they will go down,too before the end of the day. a guy of facebook said he had just filled up for $2.03 an hour before it had hit $1.99!

I thought 2.79 was good!

What I found outrageous was the cost of ground beef..almost five bucks a pound??????? I can get Beef Tip on sale at Shop Rite this week for $5.99 a lb..LOL
