Anyone have any news on Lisa

I don't have Facebook so I was wondering if she has given any clues as to what her future plans are.I realize that she is probably enjoying down time right now but I thought she might post some of her plans as she made sure everyone could follow her on Facebook.

dex, you don't have to have Facebook to see her Facebook activities. Just google Lisa Robertson Facebook and you can see everything she post. She seems to be enjoying life right now.

Honestly, I don't know how she'd ever be able to continue working after the death of her friend Joan Rivers. I'm sure that depressed everyone. Who knows, maybe it was the impetus for her to say okay, I can't do this anymore.

It would be the reverse, if anything; Joan was a known workaholic.

And I highly doubt that a friend's passing would affect Lisa quite that deeply, as she still managed to keep her regular schedule and everyday life even when her own mom passed on a few years ago.

Plus, being so fortunate and blessed to still have your health - especially your sharp mind/cognition - as you age into your senior and elder years, and being able to pursue your passions (working/other) is quite a blessing.

Heck, aging itself is, and surely not a given.

Not sure how you can be so certain the Joan's passing "depressed everyone".

And overall...I liked her.

You never saw me join in on any of the negativity toward her.

But...You also won't see me join in on any of the adoration threads.

I think most of, who knew her over the years...we're kind of in the middle. It works for me.

I think Lisa was deeply affected by the death of Joan Rivers just like she was when Bill Parks died unexpectedly. He was the original rep from Smashbox....he trained Holly. I was watching their program when Lisa made the announcement that he couldn't join them. She was sobbing while speaking. Here's a post to substantiate it.

Lisa has a new facebook page that doesn't have QVC behind her name anymore. (It says Public Figure). She has like 84,000 likes on her new page so far.

She has been posting about getting to sleep in, about lots of Christmas topics, asking questions/opinions, and about getting together with friends. She also posted Christmas type pictures.

You know every day life type things about this time of year.

I see all this on my facebook newsfeed daily. She seems very upbeat.

Lastly, lots of people are posting under her topics and seem to be glad to still be able to chat with her in that way.

I think Lisa might just want to enjoy the holidays with her friends and family for once without having to work all sorts of weird hours and weekends. She deserves a break. Maybe after the first of the year, she might be ready to tell us what her next adventure is going to be. For now, she deserves to sleep in.

Life goes on. If everybody stopped after a friend or relative dies, we'd all be doing nothing. It's best to keep moving and contributing.
