Flame less candles with moving wicks

I saw a candle in a gift shop that had a moving wick that looked so real. The problem is it was 100.00. Can someone tell me if they have one and where they got them at a cheaper price. Thank you for your help

Hi: Go to amazon d o t c o m (all departments) and type in "flameless candles with moving wicks"...... You'll see all different kinds. I have some of these but I bought them at my local Publix for about $4.99 for the large and $2.99 for the small ones. They are scented too. HTH

I saw a Luminara candle in a gift boutique last weekend. The flame wobbled back and forth. It was a taper in a brass Genie-lamp type of holder. Looked nice, but when I picked it up, it was faux brass (plastic). Was $35. Would've paid triple if it was real brass. Couldn't do it.

I need an alternative because we just got a kitten and the only place we can burn pillars now is on the mantle. I'm used to them all over the house....ugh.

Not all of the moving wick candles are created equal.

Some of them especially the Luminaras look very real. There are some knock-offs out there that are much cheaper but they don't look as good.

The Luminaras are quite expensive. Weren't they sold here at one time?

Pottery Barn carries them and they're less than $100 but, still more than I'm willing to shell out for one.

I am obsessed with these! Even my husband likes them! I bought my first one at BBB. It is a Luminaria and it is 8" tall, real wax, and I think it was $59. I want more!!!!!

I love the Luminaria candles. I've seen them out in retail and they are very expensive.

I have a few. They're pricey, but worth it.

Luminara are back on the Q, and in my experience, this is the most economical place to buy them. The one's I have seen out in the marketplace are always more money, and often you don't get the selection of colors or styles you do here.

Luminara are expensive, but I am happy with the ones I have purchased, and to me they are worth the money I have spent on them. I've seen some of the cheaper brands, and I don't think they measure up.

I get them on QVC all the time, they're fabulous.

Do a QVC search for "Luminara" and have fun choosing.

I just got this one for Christmas decorating:

It's 7" tall and was $36. You can get the same thing in a smaller version. They're also great when the electricity goes out. I put them up all over the house when that happens.

They still are sold here, and imo, they're not expensive when you compare them to what's being charged elsewhere.

They are quite beautiful. I have red ones on my mantle for the holidays right now.

BBB carries 2 sizes in ivory of the genuine Luminaras. They are the best. I've seen some knock offs that don't compare. You can use your 20% off coupons at BBB and that brings the price down nicely.

I have a Luminara candle that I bought from QVC. I love it! But if you buy one....be aware of this: when the battery starts to get weak, the flame might flash on and off..like a strobe light. I was worried that I'd have to return mine, but once I put in fresh batteries, it was flickering slowly, again.

Oh my goodness....just talking about them made me cave. I found the wonderful 8" in the hurricane at a pretty good price here on the Q and just bought it. Told you....I am obsessed with them.

The ""tapers"" sold by the Q YEARS ago have wobbly wicks. Very pretty.
