90 Day Fiance

Who's watching?

The whole Dani and Mohamed storyline is really something. I found a site that someone had referenced before and it says they're having trouble in the bedroom and she wants him to see a doctor. oy vey!

The wedding on tonight's show between Danny and Amy was beautiful. It looks like the father's on board finally!

For anyone else who watched, what are your thoughts?

I find the people on this TV show to be the MOST incredibly naive human beings on earth. Which is to say - how can they be this dense?

I think Muhammad's problems in the bedroom might be Dani.... I do not see what he sees in her or her daughters other than a pass to live in America. It can not be based on good herlooks that is for sure( OUCH!)

Danny and Amy seem to be the only couple that may actually have a chance.

The fellow from Spokane WA. with the daughter and his prospective wife are iffy.... She is a strange one. I just do not like her. Especially the incident with her suspecting the diamond engagement ring being fake?? She seems so into herself.

The couple with the fellow who is the musician is also questionable. He should have stayed in his country and continued his career... she should have stayed with him. His coming here with no education, none english speaking for the most part, and low chances of making it is the music scene in America just look like a dead end street.

I have a difficult time listening to Cassia whining about how much she left behind.... especially when Jason doesn't spend time with her..... he is the oddest person.... but he does need some time to himself and to earn a living....

I thought that maybe Daya and Brent might make it until his mother moved in before the wedding.... his mother has a critical demeanor.

I couldn't stand Dani always crying.... then I see the previews and next week Mohammed is missing.... no great loss, IMO.

Gameon... yes this is a very difficult relationship... she is SO SO needy.... What she sees in him is beyond me... him living in that mess of a home with his father... very odd situation. I think she needs to go back to where she came from.

I'm several episodes behind but not long ago I read that Danielle had been in trouble with the law about five times for writing bad checks etc. I'm pretty sure she spent time in jail also. I read it on a board. IDB or something like that. I'll try and find it later. I was wondering if anyone was watching it as well.

Haven't seen it, but it sounds just as dumb as the Bachelor shows .... too phony and contrived.

LOL, i have family members that knew each other only for a few weeks before they got married......it actually CAN work. it isnt for me, but i know couples that have been married for 50+ years that did it this way.

I record the shows and watch when I have time. This year it really seems as though some of them are scripted. Mohammad is a good looking guy. If all he wanted was a green card, I'm certain there are many young, attractive women in the US that would grab him up. It's fake, IMO.

back in the day it was more common. The goal was to marry and have kids. It is not more recent times where both women and men are carrying out longer relationships and longer engagements. Just my two cents.

I do not usually watch this show but know someone who knows the young man who was married last night. He and his fiance knew each other for much longer than 90 days. The title of the show comes from the fact they have 90 days to marry after they apply for the visa.

it was more common, but it is still going on today.....and maybe more than you realize.

it was more common, but it is still going on today.....and maybe more than you realize.

Probably. I know few people who became so serious after 90 days.

My great, great grandparents were aristocracy in Europe when they were young - there was some sort of revolution going on and their families arranged they get married at 14 (her) and 13 (him) years old and be sent to America for their safety - they remained married until her death and had 4 children. When they got to America in the mid 1800s - before the civil war - the relative they were sent to here was in the whiskey distilling business and he taught my ancestor that business. My family continued in that business until prohibition. BTW - their parents and siblings that remained in Europe were all killed in the revolution. Good thing for us they were married off and sent here. They had known each other all their lives as the families were close but can you imagine being married at that age?

I have been watching this show since the beginning.

Amy and Danny: I love her. She is the most intelligent of all. His father is/was a jerk and I hope he finally came around at the wedding. He doesn't know how lucky Danny was to have found her. I think they will make it. I don't get why he meets her and immediately brings her to stay with his brother and SIL until the wedding, and then leaves to go to work, leaving her all alone with strangers in a house in the middle of nowhere.

Brett and Daya: I don't know why he is siding with his mother and not giving Daya a chance, although I am not fond of Daya. I don't like Brett either. I find it hard to look at him. Something about his mouth, IDK..... For him to pick her up at the airport, and the very next day, drive 10 hours to pick up his 6 y/o kid to take care of for a whole month???? How dumb and inconsiderate was that?? Couldn't he have waited another month to get her? I don't think it was fair for Daya to become an instant mom (not having kids of her own). Very, very inconsiderate of him.

Cassia and Jason: I think this is the girl from Brazil and the guy who is very, very strange. Are they the couple who were in Las Vegas and he started drinking with his buddies???? He's a nasty drunk and she needs to get rid of him ASAP. That will never work. There is no chemistry there at all. I don't like him nor the fact that they will have to live with his father in that nasty house. Run, run as fast as you can. Jason hasn't got one redeeming quality. I don't get this pair at all.

Chelsea and the Musician: I don't get why he even entertained the thought of coming to a little town in the midwest, not knowing a word of English (hardly) although she speaks fluent Spanish. She's a college grad and could easily get a job in Nicaragua (if she really loves him that much). He doesn't show much promise in this country. If he decides to stay here, then it won't work.

Mohammed and Danielle: What can I say???? She's a whiner and he's a loser. I don't get this twosome at all. She is needy for sure, hasn't got a dime, lives in a dump with 3 teen girls. What is he after? Surely it isn't seks. He can always use his religion as an excuse not to have it. At least, he got into the U.S. - on her money. I know it can take at least a year to get the green card, so maybe he'll stick it out for as long as it takes and then dump her. She's already whining even before the wedding. Oy vey. The group at the wedding make the Honey Boo Boo family look like Royalty.

As usual, I loved your analysis and hung on every word. ...especially the Honey Boo Boo royalty comment at the end -- very funny and true!! That was a frightening bunch for sure!

RE: Chelsea and the musician, she is looking more and more immature every episode. It looks like she looses it next week over her wedding skirt. They really didn't think this out. He needs to be in Chicago and they won't make it unless they move and give his career a chance. I think otherwise he'll work at one of those meat processing plants they mentioned and will be truly miserable.

Cassia needs to get a clue. Jason is way entrenched with his job and lifestyle. I don't know what she really wants from him, but he's always going to be distracted looking for junk to sell and babysitting the process. She's very very needy. He must be a dynamo in bed -- I just can't figure out what the allure is for her.

Brett and Daya are also a strange couple. He's got some weird vibe going on that attracts the ladies against their good sense. I didn't like Daya at first and thought she was too materialistic, but I liked her much more after she had a breakthru bonding with Cassidy. I don't know how they all shared one bathroom in that house -- the women he lived with, him, Daya and sometimes Cassidy.

Danny and Amy - I agree with everything you said. She is striking and has a good head on her shoulders. I'm amazed at how well Danny turned out given what I've seen so far from his dad and brothers.

Dani and Mohamed - what a mess. I found something online that one of Dani's friends published as I mentioned above. Basically he's still stalling in the bedroom. He must be terrified of her in that regard. She's also so needy and seems to live in a dream world. She's definitely not had an easy time of it - bad first marriage, not enough money, job trouble, teenagers - yet seems to have the mentality of a kindergartener. They are in such a bad position financially. They also are a big draw because of what an odd couple they are (age difference, looks, culture, etc...). I can see them getting their own weird reality show a la Jersey Shore. I hope it doesn't happen.

Amy looked beautiful. Danny seems like a wimp. What was that torch thing from his brothers? How embarrassing for Amy, her mother and grandmother.

I cannot believe Mohammed married Danielle. He must have been desperate to get into this country. It makes you wonder why as he is not here for an education.
