Our Pets Will Be With Us In Heaven

Pope Francis said all God's creatures will go to heaven. I've always believed that. What would heaven be for us animal lovers if our pets weren't there. I hope I make it in.

All the more reason to look forward to Heaven. I know I have a lot of beloved pets waiting for me at the Rainbow Bridge. I still think of them often.

I have always believed this to be true as they are so deserving of Heaven and it wouldn't be Heaven without my babies.God made these beautiful creatures for us to love.

I lost my beloved sheltie of 13 years last week to cancer. I will be so happy to see him and my other 2 dogs that we had. This is such a heart warming thread that came just in time for me. Thank you for posting Scooty!

I believe this to be true, but the New York Times had to run a retraction. There was a pope who said this (maybe in the 40's?)but Pope Francis didn't say it. In Heaven Is For Real, I loved reading that Jesus has a rainbow-colored horse :-)

God saved ALL the animals on the ark..I think animals are His greatest creation! Then he sent a rainbow to show us He would never flood the world again! Very excited to hear about Jesus' rainbow colored horse! Also looking forward to seeing all my furbabies too!

All I really know about heaven is what the Bible has to say: Everything else will pale when we see Jesus Christ in all his glory. The Bible does indicate there will be animals in heaven but don't know anymore than this.

I have never doubted that our animals go to heaven. I am with Will Rogers: "If there are no dogs in heaven, then when I die, I want to go where they went".

Glad to know this Pope has a heart for all creatures great and small.

Actually, it does. Revelation 5; Romans 8:19, Ephesians 1:9-10; Psalms 145, to name but a few, do strongly speak of "all" of His creation and His plans for them.

If my pets weren't in Heaven I wouldn't care where I went but I know they will be there,God created these loving souls who are better then people,more loving and caring thats for sure.

Are loved ones are just a thought away! And yes, I do believe as I always have that our animals are waiting to cross over from heaven from rainbow bridge. God Bless our four legged angels!
