There's a review of a singing Elsa doll on the Toys R US website and it says the battery died after one week.

Not sure where this belongs, but did anyone see that big Elsa doll this morning? It is soft, so much better for a 3/4 year old, I think. But is says "batteries cannot be replaced". How silly is that? On a toy that they know will be singing non-stop?

I am not out in the toy stores, but has anyone seen anything similar? I wonder if there is a way to seam rip where the battery is in her belly to expose the battery and replace it when she stops singing? I would assume it is a button style, since it is a press on/off.

Anyone's thoughts? My granddaughter's birthday is right after Christmas (January), so delivery is not an issue.

Dead batteries WOULD be an issue for the price!

Could it be that it's a computer chip? That could explain it. You know, like some greeting cards have.

believe me....you and your daughter will be thankful for the battery to die...after hearing that song through the countless presentations of Frozen items....I change the station rather then to hear it again....and I am sure you both will be feel the same...

Ii don't think QVC should be selling a disposable doll. A lot of people will not realize this.

I am not comfortable with her. I am going to cancel. I did not think about it being like a 'singing card' chip. That could be it, and why not replaceable. Thanks!

I would not buy the doll if that's the case and batteries cant be replaced (never hear of that before!).

I have to laugh, some of you are sick of that song. My daughter isn't thrilled with it anymore either b/c my youngest granddaughter sings it (and well I might add) all the time! lol.

I like the song and the movie and probably wont get sick of it. if she sings it here. I bought her that music box/necklace Q has and so the song will be playing a lot.
