Hello ALL,

I am brand new to the "Q" and need some help with some Easy Pay questions. I have searched the Q Community and the World Wide Web, but the answers have been contradicting, to say the least. So, here I come to the guru's for some help. The item I am looking into purchasing is a Dell Laptop (about $1100.00) which has an option for 5 Easy Payments (about $220.00. Pricing is an example only).... OK, here goes...

Easy Pay Questions (I Will be using my BofA VISA Check Card):

1. Have read several times that the Q place a hold for the entire amount of the purchase against the card? I have read this a couple of times, but it doesn't make sense to me as it totally defeats the whole Easy Pay concept. Now I can clearly see a hold for the amount of the Easy Pay Payment, but not the entire balance.

2. Have read several times that new people complete an order with Easy Pay, the order is accepted, however the next day a Q CSR contacts them and informs them the Easy Payments were denied and they can pay in full or cancel the order. Once again, I cannot understand this, unless the person has been abusing the program.

Believe it or not, but I just found out about the Q and feel they offer some good products. By allowing people to use Easy Pay, it is a great convenience and home delivery is always a good thing. I just hope that it works as it is described and not like some are portraying.....

So if you could please provide some input on these questions or if you would like to provide any additional information regarding Easy Pay, please do so. I will be monitoring for replies..
