This Is Life with Lisa Ling

I've been watching way too much TV the past 2 weeks as I got a nasty case of bronchitis and had to stay in a lot. There is so much krap on TV, but I started to watch Lisa Ling's CNN documentary series, "This is Life" (earlier ones were "Our America", I believe - I watched a few of those as well) and thought YAY, a gem of a series in a sea of garbage.

Very well done series. Lisa Ling is excellent.

Everything she does is top notch. I know what you mean about so much krap on TV these days. It's refreshing to stumble upon something worth watching. Hope you feel better soon.

I have an ENT appt tomorrow as I can't shake it. He'll fix me up.

I haven't had so much as a sniffle in over three years.

My niece and I were just talking about Lisa Ling yesterday, and how much we enjoy her shows. If I miss one, I look for it on OnDemand. Her topics are so interesting.

I think she has a new one this Friday on CNN. Not sure of the time.

I caught her older show, "Our America" on the OWN network. I didn't realize it had been on for 5 years.

She's so great with the people she profiles.

kitty.... I had bronchitis....it is NO fun.... here is hoping you get to the bottom of it and get well soon....

I also love Lisa Ling.... her topics are so unique.... she goes into parts of our society that are not accessible by the general public, IMO. One of the episodes she showed her daughter and hubby.... I was so pleased to see her little gal, what a cutie pie!
