Any other insomniacs up?

It's 3:30 in the morning and I can't sleep. Not even a wink, not even dozing off a little. Whew...this is brutal. I'm glad I don't have to go to work tomorrow--today, actually.

Oh well, at least my BooBoo is snuggling on my lap and keeping me company. He's such a good boy, and so handsome.

I've had two good weeks, pain-wise, and I think my doctor and I may have found the key to getting me better. What is it? Just a course of a simple, an anti-inflammatory medication. That's all--no miracle drug, no surgery, no exotic treatments, no physical therapy. I'm both happy and mad: of ALL the medical professionals I've seen for this, not ONE thought to try this. I've had 3 years of bad, excrutiating pain that I could have avoided. But I'm glad we've finally stumbled across something that works.

I used to think doctors were smart. I'm sure a lot of them are; but some aren't. I suppose I've known that all along but this is the first time the reality has slapped me in the face.

What did you think of the gold jewelry clearance? I swear, the jewelry QVC sells--the bigger and more expensive it is, the more the quality declines. I can't believe they classify a big piece of quartz with a miniscule edging of 14-karat gold as GOLD jewelry. You almost need a jeweler's loup to find it.

Oh well, that's all for tonight folks! I hope you've had a better night's sleep than I have.
