it was not the story as much as the footage they used at the end, it was a story about a woman killing her ex-husband (she said self defense)----BUT, at the end of the story they showed film of their daughter as a toddler (she is now 5) in the bathtub, fully viewable (standing) and naked.

It had NOTHING to do with the story, and was inappropriate to show.

It makes sense that you would be upset by that. I have lots of pictures of me in the bathtub in my birthday suit as a little one, but I wouldn't want them aired on national television. Especially in this time when there are so many sickos out there. I sometimes watch 48 Hours but didn't last night. Seems odd that a news journalism show would air such a thing...sounds like a bad editing decision.

I agree. I wouldn't want my child show on tv that way. Fine for home movies or family pics, but not tv.

I saw that too.....and wondered why they had the camera on her for so long being naked. Wonder what their point was of that. I thought that was totally unnecessary.

Oh Preds......I am so wanting to rant and vent right now.....but am sitting here on my hands. I know I would feel better. And am trying to think of a comeback when I do rant and vent......

There are a lot of negative comments on their (48 hrs) fb about this. I was stunned by it. Not appropriate at all. Where is the common sense.

Anyone remember cognitive testing in elementary/middle school? At least once or twice a year, as I recall (a hundred years ago, lol). Since we didn't know what it meant, they said it was to test our ability to reason, etc.
