New Cosby Show a No Go

The Hollywood Reporter has an article stating that Mr. Cosby's new show that was to be aired on NBC has been cancelled due to 'recent controversies'.

Well, the competition apparently won in this case. Someone did not want this show to air for some reason so they dragged these women out - probably gave them some $$$ - and invented a controversy. Apparently, this is how the world works anymore - where there is either nothing or something is highly questionable you convict the person in the court of public opinion by simply keeping on saying it over and over and over. Because , apparently, just repeating something often enough makes it true to the simple minded majority of the American public. Throw it against the wall and see if it sticks.

I'm not at all surprised. They network had no choice because if they didn't cancel the show now after this "parade of so called victims" then they would have been forced to cancel when all the sponsors pulled out. Which is just as well. A show with an elderly, grizzled Bill Cosby was not going to be a success anyway. Now let's see how many, if any, of these cases he settled out of court. My guess is that we won't hear a peep out of those women now. They'll all be out there shopping and spending their windfall.....lol

that's probably one of the most insensitive things I have ever read

Look a woman who finds herself in a situation like those women allegedly found themselves, first faces total fear.........then disgust.........and followed by guilt...........it's just not what other people put her through........but..........what she puts herself through..........I should have never gone..........I should have known.........I should have seen it coming............most women in cases like this need a lot of help to FORGIVE themselves first, before they can move on...........windfall, my grandmother's butt...............................................raven
