Look Out Your Window And Tell Us What You See.....Fall Editon

If you commented on this question this summer, it's now fall, look out your window and tell us what you see this time. I looked out my window in the kitchen this morning and noticed all the trees were finally bare, so is my beautiful garden, and all my beautiful flowers are gone. All the summer furniture is put away. My backyard just looks empty right now.

Blue sky,bright blue water, a sailboat, the island across the way, and the new house being built behind me. There aren't many deciduous trees where I live, so everything is dark green...fir trees, etc.

My son's car is in the driveway. The landscaping's a tad frosty. The sky is bright blue and it's sunny! The leaves were picked up yesterday. Gorgeous but chilly.

Blue jay at my peanut feeder. Leaves on the ground from magnolia tree. Very little blooms on roses in rose garden.

I'll take this kind of day over those horrible dark, wet, gray days of last week. I hate it when I have to have my lights on in the daytime. I'll deal with the cold.

What a nice thread......

Right now I can see trees that have turned and not dropped their leaves yet. Some are still green too. The mixture is pretty. Some are already naked for the winter. The Oak trees are usually the last to lose their leaves, and once they start falling, it seems like it will never end.

It looks like it could start snowing any time, but it is going to have to get colder if it is going to do that......as it is 38 out there right now. Understand the nastys are supposed to move in more tomorrow now......and another cold front expected.......
