And elimination day is here at last! On last night's show we saw Daniele's diary room sessions which made it abundantly clear that Brendon is her target and she really, really wants him gone. The good news is it looks like he'll be going. Brendon and Rachel draggged Porsche into the purple/fortune teller room last night and tried to convince her to vote for Brendon to stay, but Porsche wouldn't budge. It looks like the vote to evict Brendon will be 5-1. The key vote to watch tonight will be Adam's, but for now anyway, he's voting out Brendon.

Speaking of Porsche she got called to the diary room for some reason yesterday and came out happy and told Daniele and Kalia that it was for "something good" but she wasn't allowed to talk about it. I suspect someone in her family was having an issue of some sort and she got good news. (BB keeps in touch with the player's families and tells the families how the player is doing and tells the player how their family is doing during DR sessions.) I suspect there was something (a medical test for a family member perhaps) that came back with good results. Maybe someone close to her had a baby and that news was relayed. It doesn't seem to be game related.

For the first time this season I saw the rule book get pulled out and read. Brendon wanted clarification on the rules about houseguests stealing stuff so Daniele looked it up in the rule book for him. Daniele, Porsche, and Kalia have been taking things and Brendon wanted to know if he had the right to look through the houseguest's personal stuff to try and find his things that were missing before he left. In a related note Kalia and Daniele were talking about sneaking into the storeroom after Brendon put his suitcase there to stash the stolen stuff in his bag (including the chess pieces that Kalia stole so people wouldn't be sitting outside "her" HOH room and posibly overhear her.)

So, tonight we'll see the post-POV drama, Brendon and Rachel campaigning for votes, Julie talkng to the house, (Jordan will get a question or two thrown her way because of the humilitard and she hates getting questions from Julie.) Then there may be a Q&A with the outgoing HOH and then the final statements from Brendon and Shelly and the vote. Right now it looks like the vote will be 5-1 to evict Brendon. Then the HOH comp will start up. This sounds like an endurance/physical comp of some sort. The teacup and/or tangled ropes are strong possibilities. Rachel has vowed to hang in and win no matter what. Her choice of nominees are Jeff and Daniele. (Smart move there. Alienate the two strongest players left in the house, both of whom you've sworn to work with.) It sounds like this could be another pretty late night of BB watching. Those types of comps tend to run late.

It should be a pretty quiet day in the house. The mood seems pretty light right now. Brendon and Rachel will be a little edgy, but other than that everyone is getting along pretty well. Brendon's elimination is all over but the voting. Once he's gone, things should get interesting. Rachel wil revert to her highly unstable self and without Shelly and Jordan rallying her, she could become a problem. (I still wouldn't rule out Jordan still helping her. Jordan's a big softie.) Whoever wins the next HOH will have a lot of power in the house. Jeff/Jordan will likely nominate Daniele and Kalia/Porsche with Daniele being the big target. There's no real need to backdoor Daniele since she has the Veto pass meaning she'll play for veto regardless. It should be an interesting show tonight and a fun week ahead.
