I am SOOO not ready for this---we are actually overdue for snow---usually sept, or Halloween---but it's so freezing out there--I think it's the Polar vortex.

They say it's not the Polar Vortex yet. OK ... so does that mean we have to wait for it to get here? I don't care what they want to call it, but I don't want it. And, I don't want the polar vortex later.

I can't even see the mountains for the low gray clouds---I only say polar vortex because of the freezing wind

Am really dreading the cold here too......and it isn't supposed to warm up until some time next week. They are predicting some snow, but heck, they aren't saying how much. We just have to wait and see. The did practice plowing this past week......want them plow truck drivers to know what they are doing and how to do the tandem plowing they do on the interstates...... This county is surrounded by interstates......

I am ready for it, but don't like it either. And just think, this is the beginning of a long cold winter......we have been warned, and they told us to get prepared......

Hey Preds......what the heck do you think I kept saying the last few winters......and yep, it sounds like it is catching up with you......

Here's hoping you will be staying nice and warm, especially since your DH has been chopping the wood for the fires you will enjoy....

Just a while ago I saw a report of the temps, and they were saying how your temps have really dropped. I feel really guilty now because it is about 70 out there right now, but know we will be freezing our butts off come tomorrow......

I have Cuddle Duds for when it gets so darn cold......do you have any????......if not, might be a good investment for warmth. Kohl's and Penny's have them, and so does Dillards.......

Sylvia, I envy you living in Colorado and the wonderful skiing and beautiful mountains. I had the good fortune to see your state when I was young. It is probably one of the most beautiful states I have ever been in..

Chopping wood for fires? LOL Nope, he's making Christmas decorations. We don't have a fireplace.

Windy here but sunny and about 70 degrees. The worst of this storm is supposed to stay on the other side (East) of the mountains.
