Garth can do that to me. He has so many songs that move me. I am sure he was thinking of his Mom who he loved so much and passed away of cancer a few years ago.

I know! It reminded me so much of my son, who took his sweet time getting here, almost a week late.

Another of his songs that's very emotional for me is ""The Dance.""

Garth is a really great story teller.

My all time favorite song is Garth's ""The Dance'. He has many other songs I have liked over the years but that one really stuck with me.

Awwww I just love Garth. That song got the waterworks going. My mom and dad were married 23 years before having me and my mom had just turned 43. Being her age now I have so much more respect for what a wonderful mother she was. A beautiful song and lovely tribute to mothers. I don't watch GMA so thank you for sharing that.

Jules ... I just checked back on this thread and noticed you were here. It's great to see you. How are you doing? And how is Mia? Alfie (our new cairn) will be six months old tomorrow and is doing great. So many similarities to Brodie and yet so many differences. He's a doll and he is so affectionate. He loves to be hugged and cuddled.

PS: My mother was 42 when I was born (3 months shy of 43)!

Thanks for posting this, betteb. I missed parts of the CMA's the other night, and I'm glad I now had a chance to see this. Garth Brooks has so many wonderful songs, and this one just blew me away! Couldn't hold back the tears....
