USA Today is reporting that Joran van der Sloot was stabbed by fellow inmates where he is imprisoned in Peru. Karma?

This is interesting. One report says it didn't happen, but another says he's in critical condition.

LIMA (Reuters) - The lawyer of convicted killer Joran van der Sloot said on Monday that the Dutch citizen had been stabbed repeatedly in a Peruvian prison in recent days, but local penitentiary authorities deny the attacks took place.

The FOX report says:

Joran van der Sloot, the 27-year-old Dutchman who is the prime suspect in the 2005 disappearance of U.S. teen Natalee Holloway, has been stabbed and may be in critical condition, according to a Dutch website.

In an interview with a Dutch news outlet, van der Sloot’s lawyer, Máximo Altez, said the convicted killer was stabbed in the shoulder and waist by fellow prisoners.

What I read was that his wife reported this.... she wants the media to pressure the prison system in Peru to have him moved. The prison denies this happened.

Isn't it interesting there are so many reports?

The only reason wanting him alive would be in hopes of one day finding out what happened to Natalee Holloway. But he would probably never tell the truth.

It is interesting that the reports are so varied. I just looked, and even those posted online in the past hour are disagreeing about what did/didn't happen.
