I really like Alberti as a host.

He does all sorts of shows, and he is always well versed in anything he sells.

He is very pleasant, doesn't yell, he is not high pressure.

I enjoy listening when he is on. Some of the other hosts are getting to hyper, too high pressure, over talking the vendor, etc.

He sells, he is calm, and seems so nice.

SHOUT OUT to Alberti!

If you put anything other that how wonderful he is... people will bash the Poster.

Who really cares how wonderful he is. He is just sales person hired to sell can openers and flashlights. Does not take rocket science to stand there and name off the colors.

I've never seen him with the exception of his assistance on Lisa's show. But I have noticed how often he is praised on this BB.

I've wondered the same thing. He sure has a cult following on these boards. And like gazelle pointed out. . .if you question anything the guy said or did, you better duck because some of the followers are quite protective and try to read things between the lines that weren't even there.

I love people who do exactly what they accuse/admonish others of doing, but when *they* do it, it's because what they're saying is "true." Riiight.

Cult following? LOL. So, the posters who respond to "I don't like X" or "X is soooo ordinaaarrryyy" with "I like X" or "X is a breath of fresh air" have turned that into a "cult?" Very amusing.

I rarely watch, and I generally do not care about the hosts in most cases. I saw Alberti fir the first time last night and was pleasantly surprised.

Actually, I consider the "cult following" to be the ones who assume that those who don't care to watch him are operating a political agenda.

What I find amusing is the number of posters who feel a need to create new threads and set up new usernames to express their endearment to the guy, and honestly I think a few of those posters are just pot stirrers hoping to create some controversy.

I think Alberti is very good. He's well-prepared, doesn't talk too much over guests or a second host and overall does an excellent job. It's especially noteworthy because he's so new to the gig.

He's always a pleasant surprise when I can't sleep at night. But the problem with being so good is he'll be stolen for the day shift pretty soon.

I wonder what his niche will end-up being. He's good at presenting just about anything.
