The One THING that Q needs to fix on this site...

Is the IPAD Issue of small font and no paragraphs.

I have eye site issues and even with progressive lens I have difficulty seeing small print.

Why would a well known product not have the ability to change font and make paragraphs is beyond me.

Posters who also know this continue to write novels knowing the issue too.. I end up skipping many posts not that anybody cares about that lol.

I don't know who is responsible for this problem, but I have to agree with you on this one CouponQueen.......I too don't read some of those long paragraphs......and putting everything caps for those of us that have an eye problem with reading the small print, sometimes the all caps is difficult to read too.......

Wish this problem could be solved......

Many of the folks using the iPads have a regular computer keyboard they could be using.....just don't want to.

Q, I think another thing QVC could do is follow the example of Facebook, and include a place to just "like" someones comment. That would cut down on all the LONG posts.

The small print doesn't bother me.

I very rarely read long posts though.

I have no idea why you can't post the empties from an iPhone or an iPad.

I use a magnifying glass because I have vision impairment. It definitely makes it easier to read those who use their IPAD.

It has nothing to do with the keyboard. If you post here with an iPad, the website's not completely compatible so it won't recognize things like paragraph breaks and it forces the font to be tiny. The only way an iPad (or iPhone) user can correct this is by entering the html code (there are several threads explaining how to do this, but no one should have to jump through those hoops).

It's absolutely ridiculous. Other sites don't have this problem. And QVC even sells these devices, so they should've caught up with the technology by now.

It has nothing to do with the keyboard. If you post here with an iPad, the website's not completely compatible so it won't recognize things like paragraph breaks and it forces the font to be tiny. That is the problem in a nutshell! Many sites accommodate the iPad. Must cost money and as the Q is cheap, they will not address it.

It's not impossible to read the small iPad print. We can all adjust the size of the font, even temporarily, on our computers.

I don't automatically pass by a post obviously done on an iPad, I look to see who wrote it. There are several very intelligent posters on this board that use an iPad, and what they have to say is usually important or interesting.

Also meant to say, I agree. There are many really interesting and intelligent posters that I enjoy reading who either use their phone or an Ipad to share their opinion.

As a reminder to those posting on iPads or iPhones, if you'll precede your post with "" (but remove the spaces I placed before and after the letter "p") it will make your text larger. That html code actually tells the system you're starting a paragraph, but it also serves to make larger text.

That's the simplest thing to remember and to do. If you want to do more, place "" at the beginning of each paragraph and "" at the end of each paragraph.

Just remember, remove the spaces I placed before and after the "p" and the "/p". I have to insert them so the site won't try to interpret the code after the "<".

There's more you can do (here's a link to one of the threads with instructions), but again I don't think we should have to go to these lengths.

I agree with Noel, too. But obviously, many will skip over the small text and the long paragraphs, just as they avoid the posts in all caps or in all bold text.

On the Mac, just press the Apple (Command) key and the plus or minus key to zoom in or out.

You're welcome! I also should've mentioned you don't use quotation marks before and after the html code. It's hard to post a how-to for code and keep the website from trying to interpret the code in the instructions.

dooBdoo, thank you once again. Now I can stop with the magnifier!!It is so much easier on my eyes. I really should take a course on using a Mac. I know they offer them at Apple. My kids keep telling me I would enjoy it.
