For those who don't know, I recently lost my very first cat, Monsieur Meow. He was a wounded stray who walked onto our driveway 18 months ago. My boyfriend and I instantly fell in love with him and he with us. He gradually went from living in our garage to living in our home. We are still so very sad that he is gone and it is to early to get another kitty. But, since I absolutely adored him, loved having him with me, and miss him so much, I have been thinking of getting a cat in the future.

My question is, are most cats so loving and well behaved? I would have never pictured having a cat in my life. I've always been a dog person. I always thought cats were aloof and somewhat destructive. Did I just get extremely lucky with my first kitty? I would appreciate your honest input. Thank you.

SO
