He's upset because his friend received 3 years for clicking on a website that was clearly labeled 16 year old wannabe h**kers??? By saying that they looked 30???

Justify it all you want, John. The label said it all.

As far as his other comments, he can backpedal all he wants. It's out there in all its disgusting glory.

Has to be more to the story. Years ago the internet was a wild place with pop-ups and crazy bad sites. I remember years ago our son was doing a report on the White House, he typed whitehouse.com instead of .gov and a p0rn site popped up.

This guy must have done more than look at a website.

He said that there were men in prison his age that clicked once on a child pxrn site and were in jail for 10 years which he felt was too long and he defended his position by using the excuse of being drunk. He was talking about jails being overcrowded I don't know what made him pick that for an example of overcrowding He has apologized

I think he has the right to say it but I felt in the interview he came across as a slimeball at least to me he did

But it wasn't 10-year-old boys and he didn't touch anything. And golly, a week later there was a knock on the door. FBI. And it was a sting set up by the Royal Canadian Mounted Police to catch people—s^x offenders. And he went to prison for three years."

His friend DOWNLOADED ""some stuff"" from a clearly labeled site about 16 year old wannabe h**kers. Clicking on a wrong key or a pop up display is one thing - downloading is quite another. That is why the FBI showed up - he downloaded the material.

I don't care how many drinks the man had - he knew exactly what the site was offering.

And I would think an author as distinguished as John would make less use of ""whatever"" in his dialogue.

That's what I thought when I watched it why even bring that up as an example. I watched it on TMZ live and I don't even think they even touched on his using downloaded and white men. They focused him saying his friend was drunk as an excuse.

Anyone who harms a child for profit or pleasure, or who in any way participates in child pxrnography—online or otherwise—should be punished to the fullest extent of the law.

My comments made two days ago during an interview with the British newspaper "The Telegraph" were in no way intended to show sympathy for those convicted of sxx crimes, especially the sxxual molestation of children. I can think of nothing more despicable.

I regret having made these comments, and apologize to all.

If you can read intelligently,you can understand the point he is making. I get it, makes sense. He is correct.
