I was in and out of hospitals last year for 9 months with my mom and FIL and never got sick once. I washed my hands like a fiend and was very careful about not touching my face. At one point, they were in 4 different hospitals between them in the span of a week. I have never had a flu shot

You probably have a strong immune system.

My grandmother went in the hospital some years ago for a hip injury. She died there of a strep disease she caught while there.

It happens, and it's why they try to get at-risk people out fast.

But some people have a much more difficult time than others at getting one and/or maintaining.

I consider my health a blessing.

How many die who have had the flu shot? I would be curious to know. I'm not dead yet and I will still take my chances.
