Here in DC we are expecting also well over 100 heat index in the next couple of days, and on our sight seeing tours we are outside 9WALKING!!) nearly 4 hours, which I now have to adjust as it is way too dangerous. I usually bring one frozen 26 oz water from home and then buy more water on the bus, as most drivers will bring large crates/coolers on the bus or else I need to make special stops so people can buy water.

According to doctors, in weather like this we are supposed to drink TWO bottles of water AN HOUR, and can you imagine how often I have to make than potty stops (and few places have clean public restrooms) in the city. And some tour escorts are not cooperative with that, so I worry about coming weekend (besides a 5 hour Futurue Farmer tour of 5 hours this evening.)

Just a warning and please be careful not to leave pets or children in the car even on the shortest of stops. Despite warnings, every year we hear of accidents, and this year it will be no different, although i take these posters are smarter than that....

Be careful and have a safe latter part of the week.

Magenta
