On 10/14/2014 violann said: Yes, Bentley is a CKCS. I think he must be quarantined for 30 days. There was a veterinarian talking about his care on the radio this morning. She said he was doing well, but seemed confused about what had happened to him. CKCSs are VERY smart, and highly recommended as therapy dogs. Plus, they are cute as the Dickens!

I had a Japanese Chin which is a close relative of the King Cavalier! I hope to have one someday..they're darling! I pray he's ok!

The nurse in Texas who has been diagnosed with Ebola has a dog. Unlike the uncaring Spanish who thought nothing of killing that nurse's dog, in our country the nurse's dog is safe and being cared for at her apartment.

Okay for the dog. However you must know that the US had put down millions of animals throughout the years due to irresponsibility of pet owners and breeders. We even buy products where animals are tested and bred for their pelts or hides. You slight Spain for the one dog but, it was done to keep an entire country and it's people safe because that virus is lethal and there is yet no cure, just treatment.

We already know dogs can and do carry the virus. The only question is whether they shed the virus like humans do.

Anyone who thinks there's no real risk should consider taking care of those dogs possibly infected. It would be a nice thing to do.

The nurse is a very pretty young lady. It was nice to see how cute she and her dog are.......

Boy, I hope she makes it........
