I was reading your question when the thread went buh-bye.

Here is the answer.

I don't think we will ever agree on how our former president or current president are being treated by the other side.

But, I think we can agree that it is wrong for both sides to treat any president with disrespect. Do we at least agree on that point?

When our former president was in office I remember venting on a thread. I was angry about something. It was a former, CONSERVATIVE poster, with whom I was friendly, who reminded me about how I was venting and the power of my words.

I never wrote a post the same way. It stuck with me.

I still complained and vented, but I kept in mind the way I was writing it.

I love to hear all sides ....gets me thinking. May not change my mind, but gets me thinking.
