Gone on all night, didn't appear to be out of hand. I left to go get coffee and when I came back entire discussion gone. Does anyone know what transpired?

they allowed it all night. in other words we are not allowed to discuss pros and cons of anything, nothing intelligent? What is the point of having a subforum called viewpoints if one cannot express their viewpoint?

edited by me: I guess they don't think that people can learn anything by having open discussions. Perhaps we should stop having debates by candidates then because they have opposing viewpoints.

I wonder what training these moderators have for their job. Whoever was on duty last night let it go, it shouldn't have been poofed this morning. It is sort of like book burning to me. Someone else decides what you can read, or write in this case. Too bad.

IMHO this whining gets as old as the poofing does, it's a privately owned board & isn't the same as freedom of speech or book burnings etc.Other boards are out there for politics & controversy. QVC makes it pretty obvious what they dont like is gonna get axed.

QVC has made it clear that they are separate from the Community and have no control over the moderation. What happens here is the result of the QVC Social Team not QVC.

why is it whining to want information on why a post that had some good information be called whining? I think others have said that if a thread disappears it would be helpful to have the moderator start a post and give their reason for doing so. And yes I know it is their board and their rules, but does that mean that we should be treated like children on a playground? Don't ASK me why, just follow the rules.
