I hope none of you were attacked...............I don't have a Saks card but did buy something with a credit card this year.

This was a different kind of theft-- they stole the info INSIDE the Saks Fifth Ave store, and then purchased- not the new "normal" of stealing the info online.

Well, if that's the case, I'm in no danger. I can't afford to shop at Saks, so don't even bother entering the store.

Unfortunately, more misinformation. This was NOT cyber theft. This was a case of Saks employees stealing credit card information. So unless someone here was physically in the store and used a credit card they are safe. At least from this theft.

Didn't her son drop her and the baby off (for hours) at the Galleria in Houston? She mentioned all the samples she amassed. At one time, I know there was a Saks there.

I don't think you read what I posted about name-dropping and talking about money---people who have money don't talk about it nor talk brand name products---it's crass and shows a lack of class---I just want for you to discuss topics other than money----you have no idea who you chat with here----whether they are rich or poor

He took me by the Galleria but we only went into a few stores.........but I did not really get to shop and look for sales and I was to go back but we all know he sent me home. I did go to another mall and they had Last Call Neimans and I got a Powder Shaker of Lady Primrose Royal Extract powder that I like to put on at night and it was under $20 and had been $40...........

what I said is: those who have money, don't seek to impress by citing name brands or whatever conveys money---I would like to know you other than a discussion re: how much items cost, etc

Lots of discussions of high-end fashion and beauty items on these boards. Also, I know lots of 'old' and 'new' money folks who wear and also discuss their high-end labels, Nordie's, NM, BG, high-end stores, etc. Same as I might discuss items that I found at Kohl's, T.J. Maxx, etc. It's just a matter of socializing with friends, talking about 'this and that'. Just passing our time away.........Fashion/beauty talk is a popular worldwide 'pastime'. No harm done, IMO.
