I saw the movie today. At first I didn't see this as a role for Ben Affleck. He was good.

It's long but goes quickly.

My paper gave it excellent review, said it was 2.5 hours, but time well spent. Said it was perfectly cast.

I've seen several rave reviews for Ben Affleck in this movie...not sure I can sit still for that long in a theater though.

I have a ticket to see it Sunday afternoon. I heard the author changed the ending from what she wrote in the book. I hope not.

I saw him in an interview and he was hesitant to take on the role. His concern was that it would not replicate the book. He said it absolutely does.

A critic on Sunday Morning who isn't a Ben Afflect fan said it was ""a he**uva film"".

We intend to see Gone Girl this Sunday. I did not read the book and heard mixed reviews on the book. But I heard the movie is good.

I just wish it wasn't so long of a movie..lol. I'll have to get up and walk around a bit in the middle because of my back. (I take a pillow with me to sit on). Because we love going to movies so you do what you have to!

I saw this today with my sister. Neither of us liked it. While it kept me interested, I felt every minute of that long 2.5 hours sitting there just waiting to see what would happen. In the end I thought "Really? That's it?" It was disappointing but when critics rave about a movie I rarely ever agree with them so I was not shocked.

I liked the book and cannot wait to see the movie -- well, I have to wait a few days because I am busy....

I thought the choice of Ben Affleck was perfect for Nick.

I normally don't like "longer movies", but I'm still hoping to see it today. I have not read the book but probably will.

I saw it yesterday morning. The show was 11:20. Shortly before it began 3 women came in pushing strollers. 2 had infants, 1 was a toddler. Someone cried throughout the entire 2 1/2 hours.

I liked the movie. The actresses that played the wife, sister and lead detective were excellent.

I'm not a Ben Affleck fan but though he was perfect for the part. Neil Patrick Harris was good creepy.

I didn't read the book...is there much violence? I can't see violent movies - they upset me...and have since I was a teen.
