Do You Like Rainy Days ?

Do you like rainy days? If I don't have to be out in them I do. I love to cook or bake on a rainy day always have. And I love a rainy Sunday sometimes. And of course nothing better than a nap on a rainy day right lol.

I don't mind a rainy weekend here and there in the early spring or fall. Those are the days I sometimes need to keep me at home and get stuff done around my house.

I'm not happy that this weekend is supposed to be crummy and rainy because it has ruined our plans.

Just came home after breakfast since it was pouring. Costco on a day like this is horrible, but it's slowing so at least I can hit the much-closer Sam's.

I love them for the same reason. I like to hunker down at home and do domestic chores, especially cooking and baking. Too many in a row make me antsy, but one rainy day on occasion is a lot of fun. I also love to read and do stitchery.

I love rainy days....especially when I can open the windows to hear it rain and smell the refreshing scent in the air....

When we lived up north I used to like it when I was off on a rainy or snowy day and I would cook or bake something special.

Our Florida home is built to the strict rules for hurricane safety so when we are inside we do not even hear the rain and are often not even aware it is raining.

I like rainy days, I like to just watch it rain sometimes. Here in California, we badly need rain and enough to end the drought.

And nights too. Had a good one last night. As long as the power stays on I love them.

I cuddle up on the couch with a book with any moisture falling down outside.

I was born in Washington state, and lived in Alaska for 41 years, I now live in Colorado, and I really miss rainy days (it's been said, though I don't totally agree, that Alaska summers are like Seattle winters). I'm always so excited when there's a thunder storm. But typically rain here lasts a very short time.

I love a lazy, rainy day spent watching movies or reading on the couch.

But I'm not wild about rainy days on days I have to work. Which are 5 out of 7.

I love a rainy day. But sadly, these days it's mostly heavy storms and/or heavy downpours. I miss the plain old all-day rains we used to get periodically.

love them. I like dark merky days. Early each AM out with my dog and there's a misty fog hanging over fields and trees. It's beautiful, still, quiet, hear the birds and frogs. Love it. Not fun with lightning while I'm out with a golf umbrella trying to walk around with dog on leash and cover her too. then = grrrrrr.
