Her current boyfriend doesn't like them.

He feels she would look more sophisticated without them.

She has already had ones related to her ex-husband removed.

I agree with Noel. I would hope she is removing them because she wants them off of her body - or else when this boyfriend is gone, she will be boyfriend less and tattoo less

What I've read is that while he did prod her to get them removed, she is no longer into the tattoos herself. I hope this is true.

And while I understand the reasoning behind getting a love interest's name, initials, etc., tattooed on your body, I would never do it.

I believe there are temporary tattoos. I had a booklet of temp. tattoos, only smaller versions, which worked quite well. Also, aren't there body painters/temp. tattoo artists? If I were a celebrity, I'd have various beautiful temp. tattoos applied, and change the pattern/image whenever I want something 'different'.

She's removed tattoos in 2012 too that were associated with her former husband, Parker.

So I'm not ready to call this new guy controlling yet.

I have toyed with with idea of getting a little (little) bumblebee on my inside ankle. That has been vetoed by my kids and my husband. He went into the vapors when I had the 2nd ear piercings many years ago. My toe rings don't thrill him either.

My ankle, my ear, my toes. If I wanna I will. We should all have the freedom to do as we please with ourselves.

I will say though, I think that the young women who are getting the entire "sleeves" and necks and chests tattooed may regret it some day. I am not crazy about the all-over tattoo thing on men either. Small and tasteful works for me.
