She hardly let him get a word in edgewise during their segment. Really liked him. Sad to hear they are divorcing.

that is what i thought sometimes,too. they just overdid it sometimes.

i am still shocked though! i liked him more than her when i could catch the show. DH is a big cooking channel fan!

I saw them on a show in the past month or two, still together. She had lost a lot of weight and looked very slim.

Pat creeps me out with his "heh, heh, heh" chuckle as a response to everything. It seemed like an act to me, and made me uncomfortable.

I always thought they were trying to be too cutsey and lovey, too and it didn't go over well.

Tho they portray themselves as HS sweethearts, this is the second time around for both of them.

He's a native of Detroit, I'm not sure about her. So much for "down home Southern cooking".

Did it say anything about the show?

In the 60s or 70s, Sonny & Cher had a very successful TV show ..... they split and kept it quiet and continued to do the show for another year.

We reallyl don't know that. Sad to say people don't always stay in love. I am divorced and it is not an easy road. It is sad to me to see couples divorce. Yes I know it may be for the best. Children don't have both parents at home each night, holidays are with this parent or that parent or split down the middle. You put on a brave face, get the children dressed, meet the ex at the door, and tell your children to have a good time. Wounds heal and time goes on.

Circumstances change people. Many things either make or break a couple. We really should not say or assume that their feelings were not genuine. I wish the best for them both. May happiness be in their future endeavors.

Me too ... I'm sure they loved each other, but it was like they were putting on a show exaggerating it.
