Derek Jeter hit a walk off RBI to give the Yankees a win in his last game at Yankee Stadium. Couldn't write that ending.

Derek Jeter and the Yankees helped my Angels by beating the Orioles tonight.

My husband was at the game. He said it was like watching a movie. The ending could not have been scripted better.

Excellent! It will now be forever a clip they will play in "Great Moments in Baseball". I've bought my son a few Jeter jerseys over the years when son was younger. For his bdays I'd get him a Yankee jersey from me and a Braves jersey from Dad.

When the Yankees played the Rangers back home in Texas, it was my FAVORITE "home series" to go to and IF you didn't get there early . . . even in Texas . . . the best of the Yankees souvenirs were GONE.

I'm a Red Sox fan, but Jeter is a class act...a once in a lifetime leader!

He'll be in the Hall of Fame unanimously.

Best Sports Ending Ever:

For me it is still the Miracle on Ice of the 1980 United States Olympic Hockey Team. First beating the Professional Russian team and then going on to win the Gold Medal. Nothing in my sports world comes even close to seeing that happen.

I've heard nothing but good things about Jeter, but baseball is not my thing. The only players I remember go back to Sandy Kofax/Bob Gibson/Johnny Bench and that era of players, the ones before the "roids" ruined some of this game for me.
