Mother passed polygraph

Mother of Georgia baby, Cooper Harris, aged 22 months, who died in July in a hot car, has passed a polygraph test.

Father Justin Harris is charged with murder.

This is interesting, because many people thought she might have been in on it.

Polygraphs are not 100%. For instance, you can be a pathological liar or extremely nervous and get false, positive results. Pathological liars convince themselves that what they are saying is true and it can ring true in a polygraph. Means nothing. She was in on it and there is no doubt in my mind !

hmmmm..they are not fool proof but they do lead a bit more credibility..I would want to know the questions asked lol..

Polygraphs are not accepted in courts as evidence. Its just an interrogation tactic.

That's what I was wondering. I'm not saying she wasn't, but the polygraph result is interesting. People who have passed in other instances were still arrested, so maybe there are a combination of other facts that have convinced the authorities that she wasn't involved.

I like facts, and i don't think any of us has them all.

A few things....when she was told her child did not make it to daycare, she said "he must have left him in the car" and when she got to her husband and baby the first time she said to the husband " you didn't say too much, did you?" I am paraphrasing but those are very suspicious things to say when you find out your baby is not at the day care and then that your baby is dead.

That doesn't mean anything. Polygraphs are not fool proof and there are ways to get around them.

Maybe my mind just doesn't want to accept the fact that two parents of the same child could be so evil. One seems more than enough.

Do you have a source where I could go read her exact words? I remember reading up on the story initially but haven't followed it closely. I do remember some people making a fuss because she apparently had looked up on the internet about children dying in hot cars....and thought to myself...who hasn't?....especially when we hear about this happening so much....in fact I looked up the statisitics on how many cases per year....I don't have a small child but if I did and something ahppened to that child I guess that would make me guilty of murder because I looked it up on the internet.....I don't have all the facts so will refrain from passing judgement on her at this time.

And that's one reason they are not allowed to be used as evidence in court.

No one source, it was all over the news and papers when it first happened. You will need to Google it if you want to see the words yourself.

Who hasn't looked up children dying in hot cars???? Most people. We may Google a news story but why would anyone Google "how to" kill someone in any way, or how long it takes or what exactly happens??
