Colored Contacts

I just saw a commercial (TBS) advertising colored contacts. Is that trend coming back? I really thought no one wore colored contacts anymore. Seems very...1990...plus I can spot fake color a mile away. Am I the only one?

They're seen in reptilian slit eye too. Not only for halloween, but year-round.

My eyes are very, very blue with a hint of green. People think I wear those kind of contacts. I do not. I have seen them advertise a lot lately so I guess they are coming back. Maybe they will be improved and more believable this time around.

I have non-descript blue eyes, so would do this in a New York minute, but my ophthalmologist told me I have too many enzymes floating on my eyes which would mu-ck them up. Oh, well.

I tried contacts many years ago (maybe 20-25 or so).......couldn't get them inserted, they cracked in half, trying to insert them, etc. Tried the blue, and I loved them the one and only time that I was able to insert them. Well, maybe they are easier now-a-days to insert.
