I love Billy Crystal and will watch him any time I hear he's on.

I feel as if I knew Robin Williams. He was our hometown boy and the whole city loved him. He was always there to help, to come when called. I bumped into him several times, he was always friendly. The first time, we were both walking our bikes down a city street to the same bookstore. He had a terrific Halloween open house for kids every year. He only lived a few blocks from where I lived. I'd say almost everyone in SF had had an encounter with him and felt as if they knew him, he was that special.

I've been gone all day - where did Rosie interview Barbra Streisand???? I saw promos for it but never saw the interview.

I saw a few minutes of the interview when I was doing paperwork this morning. Rosie did an excellent job. She's much more self-assured and mentioned something about turning 50 and the changes she's made. I think that's a good age to be.

I've never watched The View before, just snippets when connected to a past story, but I might tune in. This group of women seems more grounded, more intelligent.

I, too, thought Ro's interview with Barbra was very well done.

I remember when she interviewed her for the first time, on Ro's talk show. Ro was all but verklempt most of the time, but it was truly touching.

Billy Crystal was on TODAY this week. He mentioned he did know how serious RW's depression was. He also told some very funny stories.

I am looking forward to seeing him tomorrow.
