It seems like I've been hearing/reading it used a lot lately, from broadcast journalists to co-workers. Is this the new "I'm just sayin'" catch phrase?</P> <P>My interpretation of the meaning of "reach out to" is making a gesture of kindness, sympathy, empathy, or similar, to someone in need.
