To the 911 Memorial I posted? Did it get nasty? Surely not............I left the computer and come back on and I don't see it????? How could that have been deleted or disrespected?

I posted that I wished we could all remember how well we came together as a country at that time but maybe someone thought that was too political. It wasn't meant to be.

It was a dark day in our history and we should never forget.....or in this case have it poofed because webbie might think it is a controversial topic...how on earth can a memorial or discussion of such a dark day become poof worthy?

This issue can easily and quickly lead to heated discussions. While I understand the desire for a solemn, dignified discussion, we all now that too few propel on these boards can calmly follow the guidelines, so I understand the proactive poofing.

That is one of the reasons I don't start many threads. I don't want to feel obligated to babysit a thread.

9-11 threads have never been deemed to be controversial in the past. That is one issue most of us are united on. I was just thinking about the upcoming anniversary with sadness this morning.

We can all take a moment to remember in our own way. I do believe that news organizations replaying the whole event as it unfolded is exploitive and may be hurtful to family members of victims.

I don't want to see the buildings in flames all day, I am a big news junkie but tomorrow I will be cautions about what I watch. Horrible day
