Starting over here on Among Friends since I'm not welcomed at Viewpoints for Prayers.

I got all those down that you posted there, so nothing is lost, so let's start again here.

Gloriajean, you are such a trooper!

Do you hear from Cherry any more? I know she became quite discouraged and left. My best to her if you still talk with her.

I read some of Mother Theresa's writings when I was going thru such a dark time. It's a comfort to learn even the saints struggle.

Hi snowpuppy! I haven't heard from Cherry in a long time. She was doing fine last time I was in contact with her with no desire to return to the boards. I think she even said she was giving up the computer! Mother Teresa's writings are so good to read for everyone! Glad you read some of them.

I put a prayer on Viewpoints, it got deleted before the whole thread went, here it is again, on this forum, where I do believe it's safe.

A Prayer for Loved Ones

Lord, be their Shepherd,

Keep them with the flock,

Watch them and tend him,

Be their solid rock.

Don't let them falter,

Don't let them fall,

Wait with them, Father,

i had posted this on the other thread, but i will post it again here.

very recently there was a small plane crash in ohio. those on board were 4 students from case western reserve university. one of those young men was a close friend of the family. it was a horrible accident. if you could, please pray and send positive thoughts to the four families that lost their sons that evening. our friend was only 18 years old and had just had his first day of classes.....and he lost his life that night with his three friends. they left this world too soon.....they were just beginning their adult lives.

OC Fresh - Thank you - it's the least I can do.

Friends, I believe this one will stay, Please come and post your prayer requests - I will be praying daily for them, and I'm sure others will too.

I was just looking for that thread in viewpoints......was very disappointed to see it got poofed. There really are some folks that just can't stand when some folks are in need of encouragement, love, and concern.......for that I am sorry.

Will try to remember all that had requested prayers.....as I am ready to go to bed now and that is when I say my prayers.

Gloria, I guess you no sooner got it out of your mouth before the viewpoints post was poofed. What a shame, and... I'll leave it at that! lol

I was VERY disappointed to see that your prayer thread was removed from VP, Gloria. Your prayer was so beautiful and I appreciate your concern for us all.

Sunshine I didn't get to see about the plane crash. I cannot even begin to imagine the pain there. I am saying a prayer for them as soon as I finish this post.

Just had to say that I don't recall your nic but I really love your siggy. Corrie ten Boom's book THe Hiding Place is one of my all time favorites. AND I looked at your ""way down yonder in the paw paw patch"" and got a HUGE smile. My dad used to say that when I was a kid. He is now in heaven and thank you for the memory.

Good morning! Here are the prayer requests that I have in my notebook and my husband and I are praying for:

Croemer - Charles - having a serious battle fighting melanoma and beginning to lose the battle.

Pred - For all the names on Pred's list

Scottie - VL - cancer

Later Gater - Two with the letter G - one has ALS the other stage 4 cancer

loveschocolate - Taylor, Sue, Jennifer, Alex - many prayers needed

qvcfreak - 19 year old trying to find a good job.

MickD - Susan - fiancee broke up with her - now will lose the business they built up and their homes.

RRR - Healing while on earth and salvation for family

O C Fresh - someone's upcoming procedure - cardiac ablation

sunshine - small place crash in Ohio - 4 University Students killed (her request is above)

Happy Cat - N - found a lump in her breast - has an appt. with a breast surgeon, and for a friend who's wife died last week.

bri - E needs prayers - she's going thru some dark times.

Happytowritetoyou - For someone facing a double amputation below the knees - may not survive due to other complications.

Praying for all - and anyone can post their requests here, and pray for them.

You can post a prayer too.

Hey Scottie,

My posts are mainly on Gloria's, positive thread, I don't venture out much! lol Every once in a while I post a funny picture or saying on another forum.

I remember my Grandmother reading Corrie Ten Boom when I was a little girl and the paw paw patch song, she also sang to us kids. She'd patiently take turn with each name. Where oh where is pretty little Lucy...way down yonder in the paw paw patch. We felt so special and like you, sweet memories.

Gloria, a lot of people in need of prayer. I've got it covered.

I'm loving this thread, I hope others do.

I need to get busy doing something around this house so I'll check y'all later.

Hi Gloria

Please enter Elizabeth and Pauline on your list. Both are seniors and have health issues. Pauline fell hit her head, needed brain surgery to remove a large clot and Elizabeth has an issue with one of her feet. Both are dear to me.

Not being silly, but my male cat Tiger is feeling under the weather. He's been through a lot of abuse and came to stay with us. He is now allowed to just be a cat and now has a home of his own. He is very special to us.

We have a good friend who was diagnosed with ALS last fall. His name is Larry and he and his wife and family need our prayers. Thank you for starting this thread.
