I doubt she'll be back after all these years. It was the magic between the two of them and if they didn't bring her back while Joan was alive, doesn't seem likely now.

I doubt there will be any new products, so it wouldn't have a long life . . . just until the inventory was gone.

I don't really get this. There is really no need to bring Kathy back. That ship has sailed. Every other host developed a rapport with Joan and a respect. Yes they were fabulous but Kathy moved on and Joan continued to present with other hosts.

David Dangle often presented Joan's items when Joan was unable to be there. It will be interesting to see what happens.

QF has continued on despite Jeanne's death.

Yes, but I had never heard of Jeanne Bice before I started watching QVC, and at that I never watched QF when she was there or since. Angel looks like her daughter and continues to work for the company. I don't consider it the same situation.

I can't imagine anyone else designing Joan's products, and she was a world-wide celebrity. I would be shocked if Melissa got involved, I really can't imagine that. As I said, I think it would just be until the inventory was sold out and then it would be discontinued.

Anyone else have different ideas if and when they start selling Joan's products again? What are your thoughts, if any? I'm sure the Q is grappling with this right now, i.e., how to do it respectfully.

I don't know. I realize Joan probably didn't design all of the clothes, but I think she did design all of the jewelry. But to put out new designs with her name on the label . . . it just doesn't seem right to me. However, I'm weird, so I could be very wrong.

David was with Joan for 25 years. He and Melissa know her tastes. I'm sure they can continue to design her line. I would like to see Kathy come back to represent the line. Melissa was on years ago and just don't have an on-air presence much as Jeanne's daughter. Maybe she has matured and would be better now. And while Joan worked with most of the QVC hosts there was never anything close to the rapport Joan had with Kathy. Kathy was as knowledgeable about jewelry as Joan. And Kathy has that same story telling ability with humor. Between David, Melissa and Kathy I think they would definitely be an "A" team.

Ford, knowing Joan, I believe she probably has set instructions regarding what is to be done with her company.

Melissa did sell jewelry years ago and it was very pretty. However, it didn't last long and it was put on clearance fairly quickly. As far as Kathy representing her line, I guess time will tell what Joan wanted.

Hello again Ford! I really really doubt Joan designed ALL the jewelry pieces in her line. I may be wrong and am willing to be corrected. She may have had final say on what they put out and I would think she designed the bee pieces and the eggs but there is a lot of time and effort into designing jewelry that I just don't see Joan having the time for with all of her other activities.

To me, Joan was her line. It's not going to be the same without her. Joan wasn't just another vendor coming on air to sell her items. Joan brought her humor and special personality with her. Even if one had no intention of buying anything, watching Joan was comical and I would guess people tuned in to see Joan.

I don't feel that way about any other vendor. Even when David presented it, it just wasn't the same because it wasn't Joan.

Looking at that clip QVC put together brought back the memories of how funny Joan was on air and how hysterical those promos they did for her upcoming show were. Joan was game for anything.

I have a feeling that Joan had already decided what should and shouldn't happen with her designs when the time arrived. Probably all legally stated. Would be nice, though, if David (and possibly Melissa) could continue to present the new items that have already been manufactured. Also, just maybe Melissa will continue on with her name as the trademark. When the time is right, for her. So many possibilities. Missing Joan..........
