Hi, Kitty! My question would be "what's the point of trying to make these forums something they're not?"

I thought the thread about the minimum wage was interesting, but it got pulled from the stage. We do the best we can with what we have, and probably need to find another forum for the topics deemed inappropriate by QVC.

I know what the deal is here. My question was really rhetorical and posted out of frustration.

Calling this place "Viewpoints" is just dumb. Should be called Fl-uff.

dooBdoo, good to see you again! At least you saw my message to you before it went "poof", and I saw yours back to me before the same thing happened. I didn't see anything wrong with either of them - they weren't reposting the same topic, and I couldn't see anything against the "standards", but they went down in a flash! Strange happenings around here!

I'm going to find out more about American Winter (I guess I'm allowed to at least say that). That was such a great post.

I still can't figure out how they determine what stays and what goes, either with whole threads or individual posts. They say they are supposed to consider the context, but I just don't see that happening in a lot of cases.

BTW, there is one that has been up for quite a while now that has the word starting with "behea" and ending with "ding" in it - all the rest were taken down but it's still there. But we can't talk about wages.

When it comes to this place, there isn't any point in having a viewpoint about much, unless it's on how much money you can be convinced to part with to own the wondrous c r a p they sell every minute of every day.
